"Where do I even start. I myself am a licensed insurance broker. Stopped at a clients house today who physically inquired about life insurance coverage. Upon discovery of her State Farm policy, we called to get some simple updates as to where her policy was at with cash and benefits. When calling, Kristin answered the phone as my client explained how she was sitting with me and were looking to get information about her policy. She never offered to help but instead insisted that I was a scammer(even tho I’m licensed with a NPN) and wouldn’t release any policy information to her paying client. Even went as far to say that she was “shaking so bad” because she knew it was a scam. I Personally have my auto insurance through State Farm but will now be looking for coverage else where as I can’t do business with someone like that. The most interesting part is Kristen had to make sure to tell her client that she was welcome to get more insurance any time but anyone who had COPD and a smoker has to go through a 2 year waiting period BEFORE THEYRE EVEN Covered! Not only that but State Farm comes with no RIDERS other than the waiver of premium upon a disability and always overpriced based on some of the other programs out there that actually specialize in LIFE insurance. Not home and auto. I had day one coverage available for her. Kristin, I will let anyone and everyone know about our experience today with your upper hierarchy, especially the State Farm agent who will now lose my business because of your desperate tactics to save a policy that wasn’t really the best situation for our mutual client. Do better."

"Never had a problem while Denise sheeders was running it. Then kristin wykoski took over and was smooth for a bit. Then bill jumped 50 something a month and told them i was going to get insurance elsewhere if they couldnt help me out. She lowered my bill back to where it was at. 2 to 3 months good by and still saying i owe 320$ for the month. I call and talked to them and kristin basically called me a liar and said she never lowered my bill that i was just not paying the full amount. Weird that i was paying the exact amount she told me my new bill was 3 months in a row. Shady business. Go elsewhere. C L VAN DEVENTER AGENCY INC will help you like they did me."

"I just want to take a second to say I've been with State farm for a long time and I've always had the most helpful and warm conversations with the agents at Kristin Wykoski's firm on 20th St in Battle Creek. They are always willing to help in any way they can even when I have a lot of question! The coverage is great the rates are low and they're always giving me options for a better bundle for my buck and I never feel like I'm being robbed. I have multiple car life and rental insurance and my rates are still under $300 a month. You just don't get any better than that. So I want to say thanks to all the wonderful agents at my State farm insurance company for making me feel like a valued customer and just know I recommend you to all my friends and family!"

"I was with this branch for years. Never had an issue before the late Denise Sheeders unfortunately passed away. She was a wonderful woman. When the new person took over we had few minor issues in the beginning, but it wasn’t until I actually had a claim, that we had any real issues.

First they switched me from full coverage to comprehensive, and I really wasn’t aware this change occurred. Luckily, the comprehensive still covered this incident. I was heading home from work, and a deer ran in front of me. I did everything I could to try, and slow the vehicle down. Yet, there was no way of avoiding it. My front end, my grill, my hood were all damaged. I called Statefarm everything was covered. They said that it wouldn’t affect my rates. After the repairs, my monthly payment went through the roof. So, I started shopping around. Just to find out that even before the incident, I was already paying too much for insurance.

Statefarm was already so high that I had avoided rental car coverage, and road side assistance. After the accident their office wouldn’t even respond to any of my texts, or emails. With my new company I have full coverage insurance, a low deductible, rental car coverage, and road side assistance. I even reported my hitting the deer to them, and my monthly payment is still $150 cheaper than what Statefarm raise mine to after the accident, and around $60 cheaper than before the accident. So, if you’ve been with Statefarm for years, like I have you might want to shop around. I mean why pay more than you have to? I admit that they will go above, and beyond to make sure your vehicle is repaired, as they should."
